Belief in God

God is better than anything that any human being could possibly imagine.
I was recently asked why I believe in God.
I believe in God because I am exactly what I would expect to be if there were a God. God is the best explanation of who I am. I’ve got big dreams. I even want to live forever! But, within myself, I can’t achieve those dreams. God is the one who put those aspirations within me, and it is only through him that I can achieve them.
I also believe in God because he’s better than anything that any human being could possibly imagine. No atheist could conceive of such a God, and no religion other than Christianity could conceive of a God as good as the one whom Jesus Christ reveals.
Like Martin Luther King said,
When I look at myself I wonder how I could ever be saved.When I look at God I wonder how I could ever be lost.
