Good Timing

God’s timing is perfect.

When I was a child, I was at home alone one evening, because my parents used to work an evening shift. When I woke up, I thought that I had slept through the night and that it was morning. But it wasn’t, it was still evening.

I went to check on my mum and dad but their bed hadn’t been slept in.

I had breakfast. I woke up the neighbours. They called the police. Everyone was looking for my parents.

And then my parents arrived home.

My sense of timing has never been real good. But I’ve found, in my own life, that God’s timing is perfect.

It’s easy for us to get impatient. But it’s important not to make wrong assumptions about God and how he works in your life. If you’re willing to trust him, you’ll find that God knows just how to work things out.

Remember: Unlike mine, God’s timing is perfect.
