I recently had a mid-life crisis. Some people start a new relationship and ditch their old one. Some people go out and buy a Harley Davidson.

I didn’t do any of those things. Instead, I started learning to play flamenco guitar. I’ve discovered something that I love and that enriches my life.

There are many reasons why life changes. It can happen at any time in your life, not just in the middle of your life. But the reality is that it usually isn’t life that changes. It’s people who change. And it’s usually you.

When you find yourself unsatisfied with life, whether it’s an early-life crisis, or a mid-life crisis, or even a late-life crisis, make sure that the changes you make are really for the good.

Take a good look at yourself, and not just at others.

And remember: make sure that Jesus is your friend wherever you are in life.
