Peter-Morwabe
Ever since Pr David Kayumba shared with us about what the good Lord is currently doing with Good News Unlimited brethren, we have not stopped rejoicing and being glad even unto the Lord.

Peter MorwabeI was introduced to the teachings of Dr Desmond Ford in the year 2000 while at Bugema University by my theology lecturer, Prof. R. T Mugerwa, who gave us materials to read, although I did not understand a thing at that time. In fact my colleagues and I rejoiced and castigated Mugerwa when he was crucified as a heretic. After my graduation in 2004, I was recruited by the Central Uganda field of the SDA Church, where I worked until 2006, Then I was hired to serve the SDA Church in Kenya-Nyamira conference as a crusader and revivalist. It was in Nyamira where my understanding of the Word became clearer after studying various books. There I also met a colleague who enlightened my understanding.

I started receiving invitations from SDAs, Pentecostals, Evangelicals, and some small Catholic home groups to teach the Gospel, and particularly the book of Galatians, which which I enjoyed most of all. This was until the SDA church threatened to terminate my services if I didn’t stop sharing with “non-believers.” I decided to become independent of the SDA Church in order to avoid intimidation and manipulation and the gospel by dictation. I chose to be led by the Spirit rather than by men’s opinions.

Together with two friends, I initiated a project and established a radio station called Radio Kisima for propagation of the true Gospel. After it had been broadcasting for one year, the SDAs took it claiming it was theirs because we had used their letter- head to acquire frequency since we didn’t have a registered ministry. We lost that radio, but one day, in Jesus’ name, we shall have another.

I kept widening my knowledge in the Word by studying books by many other scholars including Dr Ford, Pr Jacks Sequira, Pr Chris, Mensa Otabil, Matthew Oshimolowo, Dr Abel Damina, Dr David Ebimyomie, and Bishop David Oyedepo.

By June 2011, I was convinced in my mind and spirit that the Lord wanted me to register an independent ministry that would assemble on Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with our major assembly days being Saturday and Sunday.

Besides my work in ministry, I still lecture at the University of Bugema at the Kisii campus, Kisii University, and at the Management,University of Nairobi to support the ministry. I intend to do ministry full-time once the ministry gains stability.

I am glad to let you know that the power of the resurrection of Jesus as made the Word to be alive in this part of the world. Because of this we have experienced great power that we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. People have been healed of their illnesses, demons have left people, and those who were bewitched and could not speak have spoken again. People who could not praise and dance for God are now free to worship. People who could not associate and socialize with their fellow Christians due to denominational boundaries now interact freely.
