This sermon stresses the futility of seeking happiness through the accumulation of worldly possessions and emphasizes that true happiness can be found only in Christ – our All in All. The erroneous belief that Christians can themselves attain to perfectionism is akin to heresy as perfect righteousness is God’s gift to all Christian believers. It is important to understand the true nature of sin and the purpose of God’s Law in order to appreciate that the remedy for sin is only found in Christ at the cross of Calvary. Finally the factors that determine the Christian’s daily experience of true holiness are presented.
