No Difference
Albert Einstein once said, “I speak to everyone in the same way, whether he is the garbage man or the president of the university.”
What Einstein is saying is that no matter what position we hold in life, we’re all pretty similar underneath. We all have the same dreams, the same things make us happy, and the same things make us sad.
And the Bible says each of us have two other things in common.
First: “There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. That’s the bad news.
And second: “There is no difference … the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him” (Rom 10:12). That’s the really good news!
We’ve all sinned. And yet, we can all find forgiveness and eternal life when we trust in Christ. That’s his gift for you, me, and all who believe.
There’s no difference. We’ve all sinned, and yet, we can all find forgiveness and eternal life when we trust in Jesus.
