Project 1 – Gospel Comfort for Ukraine
Thanks to your support, since 3 March, GNU has been targeting the suffering people of Ukraine with messages presenting them with the hope of the Gospel. In that time until today (23 March) we have reached 111,614 people in Ukraine with messages of hope in Christ. You may be interested to know that 93% of those who have responded are women between 25 and 44 years of age. I want to personally thank those of you who have helped to provide the financial means for us to do this vital work at this critical time.
It was our intention to do the same for the people of Russia, however that country has blocked the online platforms we could use.
Project 2 – Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine
GNU is also providing humanitarian aid on the ground. We have an agreement directly with ADRA Ukraine, a reputable and accredited Ukrainian humanitarian not-for-profit
The Director of ADRA Ukraine is a personal and trusted friend of mine, and I have stayed in his home many times in Ukraine. The agreement is that any gifts sent to ADRA Ukraine via GNU will be 100% used for humanitarian aid to refugees, and to the needy people in the cities of Ukraine. No admin or operational costs, and no overheads will be deducted. Any such costs will be funded directly by GNU, except for international transfer fees charged by the banks. This is intended to reassure you and to encourage you to give for this purpose.
