“Paul, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God” (Rom. 1:1).
The only commission that King Jesus has given to any of his servants is to preach the gospel to all the world (Matt. 28:18-20), starting with the nearest and extending this outreach to the most distant places and people.
Over hundreds of years this commission has been corrupted so that some churches are no longer proclaiming the gospel of full and free salvation by faith alone in Jesus alone, but salvation by joining their particular denomination. However, the Bible knows nothing of salvation by denomination, or of salvation by accepting the traditional teachings of a particular church.
The gospel that saves us reveals that we are saved, not by what we do, but by what Jesus has done for us through his life, death and resurrection. Jesus alone is our Saviour. Put your faith fully and solely in him. He will never let you down or disappoint you. If you have Jesus as your Lord and Saviour then you have a permanent place in his eternal kingdom.
