Jesting Pilate put that question but did not wait for an answer. In one sense he already knew the answer, for pointing to Jesus he exhorted the crowd to “Behold the man.” Our Lord without pride or exaggeration could say, “I am the truth” (In 14:6). But is this apparent in the confessions of those who claim to be his followers today? What is the truth to you?
