GNU Team Spends Its First Day Filming in a Professional TV Studio
Nov 13, 2014 2907
Yesterday, on 12 November 2014, the GNU team spent its first day filming in a professional TV studio in Brisbane.
The purpose of this filming day was to start generating the TV and radio content to meet the demands of the global media commitments that we currently have, and the ones that we will have in the future as the Lord opens further opportunities for the gospel to be heard by millions.
This is the culmination of 12 months’ work by GNU in investing in equipment, skills and capabilities. It has been possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters around the world, and the many volunteers involved.
GNU’s plan is to record professional studio-quality content at least one day a month, capturing as much of Des’ content as possible, and supplementing with new content from other speakers. Together with the archival content that GNU already holds of Des preaching over the years, this will present a powerful bank of media content that can be edited for current and future TV needs.
I want to thank Duncan as our Production Manager for his key role in organising this day, and Des for his content support for the ministry that he founded and for his undiminished passion for sharing the gospel, and our other volunteer speakers: Elenne, Philip, Colin, Laimon, and Bilyana.
As with all that GNU does, this is entirely a venture of faith. Please pray for GNU so that we will either simply follow the Lord, neither running ahead of Him, nor lagging behind; so that that the Lord will bless both your commitment to the sharing of the gospel through your support for this ministry, and our surrender to Him in gospel service. And pray that millions, even billions of people, will one day receive these simple gospel messages that we prepare, and that you and we may meet countless numbers of them in the Kingdom!
Grace and Peace
Eliezer
