Unlimited: Salvation is a Done Deal

And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:10).

Two thousand years ago all your sins were forgiven, you were given a free pass into the Kingdom of God, and you were granted eternal life. The New Testament tells you this again and again, including in 1 Corinthians 6:10. It is a gift you simply receive today.

Sin has been dealt with in our lives through a once-for-all and totally sufficient sacrifice of Christ (Hebrews 10:12–14). Through it we have been made perfect forever at Calvary. Because of that, we are now being made holy.

Salvation is a gift.

The greatest benefit of salvation is the gift of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14), who assures us that when Christ said, “Father, forgive them,” his prayer was answered. The Holy Spirit guarantees to us that when Christ cried out, “It is finished!,” it really was finished—two thousand years ago, at Calvary. He accomplished this complete salvation for the world (John 3:16). It is an historical fact. It is received by faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:22). Your salvation depends on it.

We are not to wring our hands and worry about our salvation. Instead we are to celebrate and to hold on to the gift we have already been given. (Hebrews 10:23). – Eliezer Gonzalez

Reflection: We have celebrations for all sorts of things that aren’t so important in the big scheme of things. Here is an idea: throw a party to celebrate your salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ. Invite a few friends who need to know.

Hey fellow brothers and sisters, This devotional written affirming the good NEWS that the free gift of salvation bought and paid for 2000 years ago by our Savior is still a valid gift in the life of a truly Born Again believer it ia a once-for-all and totally sufficient sacrifice of Christ (Hebrews 10:12–14) "'Unlimited Salvation is a Done Deal,"'  can and could be construed by some that the gift received is valid even though treated as a free license to live the life of a sinner - a blatant violator of the written MORAL DECALOGUE COMMANDMENTS (I.E. written on our hearts - Hebrews 10:15-17) as being taught and practiced by false teachers, preachers and clergymen widely prevalent today almost throughout all Christendom. That precious gift given is not a "once saved always saved gift" license. That precious gift is underscored with the proviso that believers will live in consciously guarded lives need totally surrendered to the guiding power of the indwelling Holy Spirit in sanctified and holy lived lives - till the day we die or allowed to witness the day of the return of our God the Son, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, (i.e. just as he had once lived under the empowerment of the same Holy Spirit while He had walked on earth as the 2nd Adam, a son of man, as ALL Born Again believers are deemed to be also "sons and daughters of God" now under this same Holy Spirit that had guided our Savior too - prior to his atonement on the cross). Such current teachings (which sadly is also the creed of the Seventh-day Adventists GC) that Jesus Christ had come in a dual nature (i.e. Dual Nature of Christ refers to the theology that Jesus Christ is simultaneously fully God and fully human, as stated by the Nicene Creed and affirmed by the Chalcedonian Creed - known as the hypostatic union or mystical union.) of man/God is incorrect, as God was not playing a game with this hypothesis concocted primarily by the Roman Catholic Papal Power. The pre-existent status as the Logos WORD-god in the Old Testament should not be confused with the humbled, humiliated status of a man Jesus (though divine in origins as all Born Again believers as the 1st Adam was - son of God too) - below the rank of even angels. Apostle John confirmed that not acknowledging this salient truth is antichrist. 1 John 4 - 21st Century King James Version 4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is of God. 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is not of God; and such is the spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already it is in the world.
