"Untouchable" Orphan Finds a Place in God's Family

How did this “Untouchable” Orphan find a Place in God’s Family

This is the story of a young lady who accepted Jesus in her life. Her name is Hemavathi and she is from the village of Muddy, India.

Hemavathi was born into and brought up in the poorest of the poor tribal family and she lived many years under the trees. She and her parents would go about for daily food and catch fish and sell them and live by it. So in their poor situation, her parents fell sick and they did not have money to go to the hospital. So they suffered like that for months and died.

So Hemavathi was left alone and she did not know what to do. One day as she was walking on the road and going to go fishing I met her and called her to the Good News Divine Centre and prayed for her and shared with her about Jesus. Then she got peace and courage and she went out and again she came after a few days to the Good News Divine Centre. I prayed for her and shared about Jesus and fed her well and she felt so happy.

“Untouchable” Orphan says: “Now I am so happy.”

Later she married a man who is a very good man and both of them live in a hut. She has two children – one girl and one boy. The boy is five years old and the girl is three years old. So she has been living on the bank of the river and every week she comes to the Gospel Meeting in the Good News Divine Centre. She wanted to be baptized.

She is so happy in Christ. When she lost her parents she went into depression and she did not know what to do. But it is God who has helped change her way of life and she accepted Jesus in her life.

I remembered Jeremiah 29:11 when our beautiful orphan says,

It is Jesus who has changed my life and because of Jesus now I am so happy. When I lost my parents I felt so sad and cried for days and I did not know what to do. But God helped me to know about the Holy Gospel. I am so thankful to Jesus in all my life. Thanks to you all in Christ.
